How do I publish a translation?

  1. Prepare the translation.
  2. Click on Settings (top-right)
    • Click on Enable advanced interface
  3. Go to the original article, click on Reply
    • Add your translated title and content, but do not yet publish them.
    • Check that the Language of the message, i.e. the language of your translation, is correctly chosen. (If you can’t find this, try doing point 2., then come back and refresh the page.)
    • You could (but you don’t have to) also choose the option Editing is open for all members so that others will be able to correct errors in your translation (wiki)
    • Preview
    • Confirm
  4. Your reply (message) is published. Click on the title in order to go to its individual page.
  5. Log in (If you haven’t created an account, then you must wait until someone with an account notices that your reply is a translation and does the following steps for you.)
    • Under your message, you should find the text: ” Translation: none ( vote ) ” Click on ( vote. )
    • Give a rating of how strongly this resource (your translation) is related to selected focus (the special focus “Translation”) Give a rating of 1 (Likely)
    • Submit
  6. Done. :)
